Sorry everyone, but I'm still hurting too much to return on Monday. I'll be ready to go on Wednesday. In the meantime, business as usual this week. For your first lesson of the week, I will be teaching about hair analysis (see the video below). You should be taking notes on the info presented and recording any questions that you have in your notes so we can discuss them later in the week.
Once you are done with the lesson, you will be reading an article that centers on hair analysis and how it can be used as a timeline in the recording of an individuals life (click here for the original article). You will then write a one paragraph summary of the article, individually, and your summary should include a list of things you learned by reading the article. Once this is finished, you will work with a partner to develop a set of study guide questions that can be used to go with the article. The study guide should consist of a variety of question types (multiple choice, true/false, short answer, etc.) and have at least 10 questions. Additionally, you should include one essay question in your study guide.
Finally, you should include a study guide answer key for your worksheet that is complete with point values, correct answers, and at least two sample correct responses to your essay question.
